The hotel is a wonderful base for a trip in Amsterdam. The rooms are relaxing and absolutely fabulous and they have central heating, a fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities. Enjoyed our 3 days in this venue, nothing too much trouble.

The beds are exceptionally comfortable. Central heating provided. - Convenient amenities like a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. - Great location, close to the city center and NDSM cultural region.

The location is not so close to the city center but it's in a nice, quiet residential area. This allows you to see a different side of Amsterdam, away from the tourist center. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with nice smelling linen and towels provided. Marta, the hostess, is friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. One advantage is the easy access to the house at any time you want to come back.
The blankets in the rooms are a bit old.

I just loved the room at The Rooms Upstairs & Downstairs! The twin/double room had a balcony where I could sip my morning coffee and a cozy microwave to warm up some leftovers. The tea/coffee maker was a convenient touch too. It felt like home!
The only thing I didn't quite vibe with was the patio in the double room. It just didn't match my personal style, but I'm sure others would love it.

our stay at this charming home in amsterdam was absolutely delightful. the host, marta, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel like part of the family. the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was a delicious spread of homemade treats. we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
